Contact East wants talent mainly from Atlantic Canada to showcase for provincial, national and international presenters and buyers. Anyone interested in participating should log onto www.contacteast.ca, download an artist submission form and submit it. The deadline is March 30.
Every two years for a quarter-century, outstanding Atlantic Canadian artists in theatre, music and dance have gathered to showcase their abilities and projects. Contact East 2007 is scheduled for September 30 to October 3 in Liverpool, Nova Scotia. Almost four dozen performers will demonstrate their abilities, so it promises to be a great weekend for fans too.
Typically, six or more regional, national or international tours get booked as a result of Contact East.
