Two venues host the main-stage evening performances at the 2007 Prince Edward Island Guitar Festival from April 19-21. Following shows at the usual location, the Britannia Hall (newly renovated and musically enhanced) in Tyne Valley, the festival ends at Summerside’s Harbourfront Jubilee Theatre.
Along with entertaining, some of PEI’s best guitar instructors will lead workshops in Tyne Valley. There’s even one to show people how to build guitars.
The festival features more than 40 leading guitarists, the likes of Ian Toms, Rob Drew, Norm Bowser, Roland Beaulieu, Stephane Bouchard, John MacAllar, Fred Arsenault and Sandra Jones.
