The three well-known concert
entertainers have performed nationally, internationally and in community halls and theatres close to home.
Victoria Playhouse artistic director Erskine Smith is familiar for often greeting patrons at the door. His quirky, funny stories, based on the rural experience of land and sea, have been heard on CBC Radio.
David Weale moved to Greenmount, P.E.I., as a boy and discovered a dying rural order ripe with fascinating characters and wonderful stories. Early experiences greatly influenced his later work to capture, teach and share Island folk history.
Mark Haines is an award-winning singer and multi-instrumentalist whose music career spans 37 years. His repertoire is roots-driven covering folk, Celtic, blues, jazz and rock ‘n roll.
