Sprinkle Some Needed Flavor
At 8 p.m. on October 13, A Touch of Spice, the most successful movie in Greek history, a winner of eight National Film Awards, will screen at the Culture Club Gallery in Hong Kong.

Released in 2003 and directed by Tassos Boulmetis, A Touch of Spice stars Georges Corraface as the adult character, Fanis Iakovides. The same character as a child is played by Markos Osse. An important supporting role, the grandfather Vassilis, is played by Tassos Bandis.

It’s the story of a Greek boy whose grandfather, a culinary philosopher and mentor, teaches him that food and life both require a little something to add flavor. Fanis becomes an excellent cook who spices up the lives of those around him. As an adult, he leaves Athens and travels to Istanbul, his birthplace, to reunite with his grandfather and his first love.
