| I’m a co-writer of the song “He Died For Love” as performed by Rod Stordy. Rod put a different vocal twist on the song than I had in the demo, but that’s what makes us all unique. And I can hear his Prince Edward Island (PEI) accent coming out, especially on the spoken parts.
My mother was a PEI girl born in Charlottetown. As a youngster, I lived in Summerside where my father was stationed in the military for a number of years.
It’s all very interesting that two boys who lived in Summerside, but moved to different parts of Canada, managed to hook up on this project. I hope the song helps Rod in his career.
