Are you looking for music-industry advice? Want your songs evaluated by industry professionals? In partnership with Music Prince Edward Island, the Songwriters Association of Canada presents Songposium 2009 on November 14 at The Guild in Charlottetown, Canada.
The event is an intensive one-day seminar for aspiring songwriters and those interested to learn about the art, craft and business of songwriting. Topics include:
-- Anatomy of a Hit (what it takes to top the charts, from conception to rough recordings to album single to radio hit);
-- Marketing on the Web and
-- Radio Programming (the myths of radio and what balances listeners’ tastes with advertisers’ needs).
