Soon we'll have a visit from representatives of a culturally rich nearby country. On November 24 and 25, Taiwan’s Shinehouse Theatre will present “Those Stories We've Heard”. The performances begin at 8 p.m. Admission costs HK$160.
Based on things heard in real life, “Those Stories We've Heard” presents a series of small but fascinating stories. The themes include an unspeakable love that can be conveyed only through eye contact, an extreme pain when the significant one passes away and a sadness that lurks behind lies. Not just interesting, the stories invoke the warmth of mankind. They cover many issues, like homosexuality, family relationships, disadvantaged groups and the concerns of life.
Even the highest mountains fail to hide the sun. Performing in Hong Kong for the first time, the Shinehouse Theatre aims to create a brighter society. Founded in 2006, it's one of Taipei's most energetic theatre groups.
