Fans of the band Mars Hill and its front man, Devin Casario, look forward to the launch of his first solo CD, Rooftops and Alleyways, a double-album supported by his latest band and artistic tribe, The Illusion. The new CD will be presented on October 1 at the YLofts, 252 Prince Street, Charlottetown, Canada. The doors open at 8:30 p.m.

Rooftops and Alleyways explores the theme of enslavement versus resistance in a decaying society, part of an increasingly militaristic, monopolized world. The Illusion blends elements of pop, folk, reggae, jazz, waltz and hip-hop into highly original, visceral sounds that suit Casario's unique vocals.
