| In early August, a team of 50 students and teachers from the University of Hong Kong (HKU), together with others, went to China’s Sichuan Province and contributed in a school-rebuilding project. Multimedia classrooms, an e-learning system, satellite-education TV and solar-energy systems were installed. Skills in using these systems were transferred to the local teachers.
Then a book and DVD about the project were published. HKU students and primary-school teachers and students who contributed to the project will share their experiences at a book-launch ceremony at 6 p.m. on October 22 in the Rayson Huang Theatre at HKU.
