Seminar to Focus on Human-Rights Issues

The University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Law Centre for Comparative and Public Law, together with the China Human Rights Lawyers Concern Group, has co-organized a seminar to review the situations of the rule of law in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Chinese mainland. The participants, including China news commentator Poon Siu To, Taiwan lawyer Weng Kuo-Yen and several Chinese mainland human-rights lawyers, will emphasize human-rights issues.

The seminar is set for 3-6 p.m. on April 2 in the Council Chamber on the 8th floor of HKU's Meng Wah Complex. Simultaneous interpretation (in Putonghua and English) will be provided.
