| NewMusicWest wants talented performers to showcase in its festival from May 2-6, 2007. Every musician applying by the February 9 deadline will be heard by at least three music-industry professionals and considered for a festival showcase. Last year we featured 200 bands in 25 venues, attracting 30,000 people.
The musicians also will have opportunities for promotion on Sirius Satellite Radio, CBC Radio 3, the NMW website, 29 Mobile ring tones and elsewhere. Application instructions appear online at www.newmusicwest.com.
Now celebrating its 16th anniversary, NMW is one of the largest and most influential music festivals on North America’s West Coast. Since 29 Productions took responsibility for the event two years ago, we’ve expanded it into a major destination for fans and industry professionals.
