Sad Story Brings Hope

Oh, my god! I’m sitting here blubbering in the office after reading your story about Lady the Cat (Gracious Lady Cat Leans on Admiring Friends in Final Days, November 3, 2006). What a wonderful piece you’ve written! I really wish that other people, like you, wouldn’t give up so easily on their pets.

Lady doesn’t look 15 years old. I’d put her at 10 or even younger. Apparently, veterinarians find it very hard to tell the ages of cats.

She looks so gorgeous too! Gail is going to miss her, and so are you guys. It’s really an amazing story! I’m going to send it out to our cat-chat forum.

Honestly, I completely sobbed after reading that, but happy-sad tears.

Lady’s story is certainly one of hope. Really, I want people to be less hasty about euthanasia. I’m so glad that Lady’s still with you.
