The Prince Edward Island Jazz and Blues Festival invites everyone to a Blues Bash planned for the Confederation Centre Studio Theatre in Charlottetown on May 5. Keyboard master Doug Riley, seated at his old favorite, the Hammond B3 organ, will be joined on stage by Danny B (harmonica, vocals) and Bernie LaBarge (guitar), two of his colleagues from the Danny B Blues Band. Danny B and LaBarge will be on PEI to record with Riley at his studio in Little Pond for a blues CD. Tickets are Cdn $25 and available at the Confed Centre Box Office. The Blues Bash begins at 8 pm.
