Referendum Campaign Unveils Meaningful Logo

The official logo of Hong Kong’s Five Districts Referendum Movement has been launched. Civic Party leader Audrey Eu, a spokesperson for the movement, said the logo’s graphic, composed of two hands, signifies the idea of a high-five or “give me five” as in lending support. Through these hands, we’ll cast votes and support “true universal suffrage”.

The movement’s theme colors are orange and yellow to symbolize the goals of hope, change and progress. Wording on the logo reads “universal suffrage” and “our vote, our voice”.

Eu stresses that the Five Districts Referendum is a “new democracy movement” that belongs to all citizens. Hong Kong people should treasure the chance and vote to make their voices heard. The louder their voices are, the greater the strength to achieve universal suffrage.
