On February 25, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Asia staffers will host a demonstration at the Hong Kong International Fur Fair to protest against fashion designers’ use of fur.
On fur farms, animals spend their entire lives pacing in tiny, filthy wire cages where they go mad before they’re electrocuted, gassed or have their necks broken. An investigation of fur farms in China reveals that foxes and raccoon dogs are skinned alive after their heads are slammed on the ground.
PETA – and animals – need help to make this important Fur Fair demonstration possible. We’ll have four people sitting in small cages holding signs that read, “Animals Suffer on Fur Farms”. If you’d like to join the protest, please contact me.

Red foxes, and other animals, prefer to keep their fur.
