| In Liberating Hong Kong, Chinese-language author Albert Lai warns about the dangers of global warming. Furthermore, he believes that the hazards relating to the environment and development stand in tandem with politics.
On September 24 (starting at 7:15 p.m.) in the special collections section of Hong Kong University’s main library, Lai will address and analyze the core issue of how Hong Kong people can lead better lives in the face of unprecedented challenges from rapid global warming, political shortcomings and socio-economic changes. The discussion will take place in Cantonese with simultaneous translation into English.
