The Holland College School of Performing Arts, a partnership with the Confederation Centre of the Arts, has announced the faculty for its Music Performance and Performing Arts Foundation programs that start in September.
The two-year music-performance program trains musicians for the music industry. Its instructors include: Alan Dowling on the music business and rock and country styles; Sean Ferris with private lessons for pianists; Donald Fraser on keyboard harmony; Terry Hatty with private voice lessons; Devin Hornby on ear training, rock and country ensemble and private bass lessons; Julain Molnar with private voice lessons; M.J. Mullin on music theory and guitar lessons; and Alan White with drumming lessons.
The one-year performing-arts program introduces students to career options in the performing arts, both onstage and behind the scenes. Its teachers include: Gaylene Carragher on communications; Dean Constable on technical aspects of theatre; Jade Lipton and Peggy Reddin on dance; Wade Lynch on acting essentials and a performing arts overview; Molnar on voice; Jody Racicot on performance business; and Julie Sauvé on an introduction to creative thinking.
