| Ten bands, including two from Prince Edward Island (PEI), have reached the finals in the Search For The Next Great Atlantic Canadian Rock Band. The top 10 includes: Alice Stops Time (Windsor, Nova Scotia), Battery Point (Charlottetown, PEI), Breaking Never (Shubenacadie, NS), Isonic (Saint John, New Brunswick), Loud Machine (Charlottetown, PEI), Jon Mullane (Halifax, NS), Ordain (Miramichi, NB), Pink Thunder (St. Peters, NS), Shelter With Thieves (Halifax, NS) and Six Satellite (Corner Brook, Newfoundland).
Radio-industry experts will decide the winner. The victorious band will play the opening spot at the Canadian Forces Halifax Rock Fest (www.halifaxrockfest.ca), win Cdn $5,000 and receive up to $5,000 worth of studio time at Atlantica Studios in Saint John to record a killer song for play on participating radio stations.
