Nature Depicted In Full Force
We have the pleasure of inviting you to a solo exhibition until November 24 featuring the latest works by Professor Zhang Jie, vice-president of the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing, China. The paintings sometimes present viewers with a bird’s-eye view of nature. At other times, we look at the very top of a snowy mountain. Or we find ourselves in front of a terraced rice field.

According to Inger Ken, chief curator of the Risor Art Museum in Norway, “I am most surprised by the great level of energy and expressiveness depicted by the works. They contain an unexplainable, gigantic force of nature.”

The well-established artist has shown his works in major cities across China and in Taiwan, South Korea, France, Germany, Norway, Canada and the United States. His works appear in museum, government, corporate and private collections.
