Recently, I read your editorial Cruelty Churns Concern (January 24, 2007) and couldn’t agree more. Another aspect that’s likely to strike a chord with a lot of people is the link between the abuse of animals and domestic violence with similar abuse of humans. It’s almost as if the abusers hone their skills on the innocent and helpless animals.
