Lovely Lass Lost
My husband and I really enjoy Cairns Media Magazine. I liked the latest fiction item, Lessons With Lisa.
There’s more sad news to add to my story Dogs Down in the Dumps (published Sept. 24). Another puppy, one I called Lass and particularly loved, was run over in the carpark.
I confess that I shed a lot of tears over this loss. Someone commented that befriending street dogs means that you must prepare for heartache. So true!
The two surviving puppies, Possum and Dumdum, are so cute now. They have the same lovely nature as their mother.
Oddly, I got photos of Lass a few days earlier. I have those to help me to remember her.
