Love's Mysteries Mark Canvas Surfaces
Humans always need to express and perceive. We want to talk, listen, mingle and be accepted. But often we can’t express ourselves adequately because life moves too fast. Sometimes we don’t even have the chance. This is a reason to immerse in art to interact and communicate with deep hearts and unvoiced thoughts.

My exhibition, “When Life Cannot Tell You Everything” (oil on canvas) opening on November 20 at the Culture Club Gallery in Hong Kong, presents a dialogue of thoughts intertwined in a story of unrequited and heart-rending love. Amid tumultuous episodes with unpredictable endings, how do we muddle through? How do we get a handle on complex relationships?

Any pain and suffering shouldn’t be taken out on other people. We may not be able to control our feelings or cope with conflicting emotions, but if we trust the faith of love, we can restrain from inflicting pain on others. Mind you, life’s full of mysteries, and I’d never have a clue.
