Recently, I was saddened by the death of Lobert, the famous dog from the Man Fung Seafood Restaurant and The Island Bar (Wizened Main Street Pooch Made an Impact, March 19, 2007).
In fact, I remember Lobert as a youngster when he developed a passion for me. He’d grab my thigh in the grip of his front legs and accompany me the entire length of the ferry pier. He had a limber back in those days.
