Life With Bears: Grizzly Man's Peril |
Craziness or passion for life? Come and be the judge.
Grizzly Man, an award-winning 2005 documentary film by German director Werner Herzog, chronicles the life and death of bear enthusiast Timothy Treadwell. The film has Treadwell’s own footage of his interactions with grizzly bears before he and his girlfriend were killed and partially eaten by a bear in 2003.
Intending to raise public awareness of the problems faced by bears, Treadwell spent 13 summers in an Alaskan national park. In time, he believed he was trusted by the bears.
At the Culture Club Gallery in Hong Kong, we will screen Grizzly Man at 8 p.m. on November 5. Space is limited so please reserve seats by contacting us.
