The artist Kaze continues an African art exhibition, “The Power of Creativity", until May 28 at Hong Kong's Culture Club Gallery.
Born in Cameroon 38 years ago, Kaze studied science at the country's University of Yaounde until dropping out to join his uncle, a local artist. Kaze's passion for art grew so strong it has prompted travels across Africa, to Europe and Russia and to his present home, Hong Kong.
To Kaze, art forms a “magic world” to discovery through a 3-D inspirational collection based on his travels and creativity. “I testify, and there is substantial proof, that regular contact with nature is good for us in every way,” he said. “Spiritual values may be as important, if not more, than the more tangible benefits of possessions. As we look to save our planet, let's not lose sight of the power of creativity.”
