JL Artists, a “boutique” management company” based in New Brunswick and led by Jeff Liberty, has signed the Prince Edward Island band The Haunted Hearts, recent winners of four P.E.I. Music Awards (group, album, songwriter and country album of the year).
According to Liberty, “I've been a fan since first seeing the band live at last year's East Coast Music Awards.... Their songs are amazing and well crafted. As far as I was concerned, I was watching the best live band in Atlantic Canada.”
Haunted Hearts musician Dennis Ellsworth said: “I feel overwhelming excitement at being part of the JL Artists roster.”
Also starring Johnny Ross, Mike MacDougall and Mark Geddes, The Haunted Hearts play alternative-roots/country music. The band began in 2008. It followed a diverse debut album, Thank You, Goodnight, with last’s year's Howdy.
