Letter to the Editor
Iranian Protesters Prove Key Points
Editor’s Note: The writer wants legitimate democracy for Iran and objects to the government’s violent crackdown on public protests after dubious election results there.

We’ve already won. We’ve proven to the whole world that we are brave, and they are savage. We ask for democracy, and they ask for slavery. We are right-minded, and they are blockheaded. We are kind-hearted, and they are black-hearted. But most importantly, they are our opposite, not our reflection.

I wish for a day when Iran becomes a place where all Iranian people around the world would like to live.

In Iran, election
results defy belief.
