Furthermore, we need an integrated plan on how to fight a crisis like the recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai, one that swings into action if something similar happens. We need to invest more in a central tactical agency that’s well equipped. Our forces don’t have even kevlar suits or night-vision helmets.
As a people, we need to unite to make our government answerable to us. Why don’t we make a charter of demands on security, governance and other issues? If our wishes aren’t respected, we should stop paying taxes. That’s classic non-co-operation that always works.
