Tim Dickinson, founder of How2© in Hong Kong, soon will launch the How2© guidebook series.
Tim’s idea for the guide series began with a desire to easily identify and order dim sum in restaurants. So the first wallet-sized guide, How2© Order Dim Sum in Hong Kong, had large images of dim sum items, described them, gave the names (as expatriates might say them), told how they’re really pronounced and supplied the written names in Chinese.
Soon Tim’s enthusiasm grew. Inspiration for a second guide came from the city itself. Hong Kong’s cityscape hides places of immense beauty and deep tranquility. It has more than 200 uninhabited islands and lots of protected parkland. But most visitors don’t know that. So along came a second guide, How2© See the Sights in Hong Kong.
Now there’s a complete first edition of the guide series packaged in a foldout “dragon wallet”, itself a souvenir. The series includes:
-- How2© Order Dim Sum in Hong Kong
-- How2© See the Sights in Hong Kong
-- How2© Amuse the Kids in Hong Kong
-- How2© Eat Internationally in Hong Kong
-- How2© Eat With Kids in Hong Kong
-- How2© Get Around in Hong Kong
-- How2© Find the Best Bars in Hong Kong
-- How2© Pamper Yourself in Hong Kong.
Tim’s launch event starts at 6:30 p.m. on November 24 in our store in the Prince’s Building, Central District.
