Kong Books Inspire Prompt Pal Profiles
Two Chinese-language books, The Kong Girls Bible and A Memoir of Kong Man, have created a social/cultural buzz in Hong Kong. They’ve become a basis for discussion among people, triggering a fervent profiling of friends against the traits of a Kong girl or Kong man.

At a book talk on October 7, author Yip Yat Chee will share his perspectives and insights while delivering lively and candid observations. This event, beginning at 7:15 p.m. in the special collections section of the University of Hong Kong’s Main Library, will take place in Cantonese with simultaneous interpretation into English.
