Award-winning singer-songwriter Dave Gunning tours Atlantic Canada from September 18 to October 9 in support of his new album, A Tribute to John Allan Cameron. It's an inspiring and heartfelt dedication to Canada's godfather of Celtic music. Dave begins with a show at the Harmony House Theatre in Hunter River, Prince Edward Island.
Earlier, Dave saw a previous release, We're All Leaving, nominated for many awards. Since debuting with Lost Tracks in the 1990s, he has won six Music Nova Scotia Awards and three East Coast Music Awards. He won the Indie International Songwriting Contest in the folk category for “Hard Workin' Hands". Another of his songs, “Cowboy's Dream", co-written with Canadian country star George Canyon, was an International Songwriting finalist.
Dave's other CDs are: House For Sale (2007), Dave Gunning Christmas (2006), Two-Bit World (2004), Dave Gunning Live (2002), Caught Between Shadows (2000) and Candles and Evergreens, a 2008 recording with Canyon.
