Music Prince Edward Island is proud to announce that after hard lobbying we’ve finally secured programme funding from the provincial government. Treasurer Mitch Murphy made the announcement to the tune of Cdn$130,000 in his annual budget.
What a great thing for the PEI music industry! To the people who helped to lobby and wrote letters or emails, thanks and congratulations. This first step will assist our music industry in reaching its full potential. Later this year, we’ll announce programmes.
Soon we’ll have our annual general meeting and a membership drive. The future looks exciting for music on PEI.
