The Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to announce that linebacker Jerrell Freeman has been chosen to the Canadian Football League all-star team. The all-stars were selected by voting members of the Football Reporters of Canada, CFL head coaches and fans across the country.
Freeman just completed his third season with the Riders and had a league-leading 105 defensive tackles. The 25-year-old also tallied a team-leading six quarterback-sacks. A dominant force, he's also the West Division finalist for defensive player of the year.
