The Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club is pleased to announce that Jack Abendschan will be inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Museum. Entering the hall with him are former CFL greats Damon Allen, Milt Stegall, Tyron Jones and Eric LaPointe. In the builder category, David Braley and Peter Connellan will be inducted.

Abendschan played for the Roughriders from 1965-75 as a punter/kicker. He holds third spot on the Riders' all-time scoring list with 863 points. He tallied 312 converts and 159 field goals. A New Mexico product, he entered the Roughriders Plaza of Honor in 1992.
