| A few days remain before the deadline for submissions to this year’s Canadian Folk Music Awards. Canadian musicians who released recordings between June 15, 2007, and June 14, 2008, are eligible to submit their work.
The submission form and eligibility guidelines are available on-line at http://www.canadianfolkmusicawards.ca/. Submissions must be received by the CFMA office by July 4.
The Canadian Folk Music Awards offer prizes in 19 categories. The CFMAs, like the Junos, are judged by independent juries of industry experts. Results are tabulated by an independent chartered accountant.
