Recently, I threw some copies of Al Gore’s movie, An Inconvenient Truth, into the mail as gifts. As you know, it’s about global warming and has generated a lot of discussion. It’s well worth watching. I saw it at a theatre in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Unfortunately, because it’s not a Hollywood blockbuster, I couldn’t find pirated copies down in Chiang Mai’s Night Bazar, where I buy most of my movies. There’s probably little demand for it by the Thai public.
Gore comes across as intelligent and articulate, so I pondered how he could lose an election to an idiot like George W. Bush.

Al Gore: high price for his defeat.
