| Congratulations to the Music PEI members who won East Coast Music Awards this past weekend in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Our winners included Nathan Wiley, the Saddle River String Band, Vishten, Two Hours Traffic and Rose Cousins.
The ECMAs provided an excellent opportunity for many of our members to showcase their abilities. Earlier, Music PEI held coaching workshops with many of the artists, and the results showed in great, confident performances appreciated by the crowds. Music PEI will continue to run such workshops.
The Music PEI Showcase Stage had outstanding performances by the Chucky Danger Band, Two Hours Traffic, Nathan Wiley, Tim Chaisson, Catherine MacLellan, Battery Point, Nudie and the Turks, the Saddle River String Band, Pat Deighan and the Orb Weavers, Fugato, Smothered in Hugs, John Connolly, Meaghan Blanchard, Eric Broadbent, Jon Matthews, the Mystery System, Annapilla, Boxer the Horse, the Blueprints, Cynthia MacLeod, Trinity Bradshaw, Andrew Murray, the Danks and the Disco Rockin Llamas.
