Does Human-Rights Issue Belong in Asian Schools?

Kerry Kennedy, a daughter of late American politician Robert Kennedy, will join human-rights activists, academics and dignitaries to introduce Speak Truth To Power (STTP), a book, play, photo exhibit and human-rights curriculum, to students, teachers and the public at the University of Hong Kong on February 21.

As president of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, she visits Asia to launch events to promote global human rights and human-rights education. The STTP program subsequently will appear in Cambodia.

The Hong Kong event, a panel discussion about human-rights education, also involves leaders from Amnesty International and Hong Kong Human Rights Monitor. Broadcaster Claudia Mo will moderate starting at 2:30 p.m. in the council chamber, 8th floor, Meng Wah Complex, HKU.
