We’re proud to support author Malcolm Gladwell in his first public appearance in Hong Kong. On August 7, he will present an exclusive seminar, The Tipping Point: Why Changes Happen and Why Trends Work, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel.
Gladwell has written three important books, The Tipping Point, Blink and Outliers, all New York Times bestsellers. He’s a staff writer with The New Yorker magazine who was named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people.
An extraordinary speaker, he’ll address why some ideas, behaviors and products take off and spread successfully, but others don’t. He argues that the best messages and ideas behave like viruses, so understanding the laws of epidemics can shed insight on how to rise above the clamor of voices trying to reach consumers. The seminar will examine how little things can make big differences and will present a new way to understand why change often happens quickly and unexpectedly.
