Meet Gustav Preller, author of Icarus Over Hong Kong, on February 26 beginning at noon inside the Bookazine store at the Prince’s Building in Hong Kong’s Central District.

Icarus Over Hong Kong moves rapidly from trading floors and Macau casinos to South African beaches and Hong Kong’s teeming streets, revealing the money-driven world of investment banking and the darkness below glittering veneers.

Born in Cape Town, Preller is a ninth-generation South African whose family originated in Germany. Active in marketing, he worked for advertising agencies and the sports giant Adidas before writing his first novel, Icarus Over Hong Kong.
