DHL Guy Covers 10 Yards or More

Prior to prospering in the long run, entrepreneurs must handle certain fundamentals. A new book, The First 10 Yards, The Five Dynamics of Entrepreneurship by Po Chung with Saimond Ip, tells the minimum qualities needed to build an inspiring company.

Sixty-six-year-old Po should know. He helped to build DHL, the world’s “most global of global companies”. As for Ip, he’s the CEO of OnePort Ltd.

Written by these practicing entrepreneurs, the book draws on a wealth of experience, stories and cases from Asia and the West. The authors really explore how to survive the “first 10 yards” with a new company and then to thrive. They address the critical factors that determine success or failure for any new business.

On November 25, Po and Ip will discuss their book in the Special Collections section of the Main Library at Hong Kong University. The event begins at 7:15 p.m.
