| Jennifer Murray shows no fear of heights, ice or snow. She’s a world-record holder for the first polar circumnavigation of the globe by helicopter. In a book called Broken Journey, she tells how the Polar First mission unfolded. Among other escapades, the true story has a crash and a close call with freezing to death. On October 30, Murray shares the remarkable tale again at a literary lunch. The event begins at 12:30 p.m. inside M at the Fringe, 2 Lower Albert Road, in Hong Kong’s Central District.
Tickets, available at Dymocks bookstores, cost HK$288, which includes a three-course lunch, a glass of wine and tea or coffee.
