Comical Characters Show Life's Duality
An exhibition, titled Faces To Figures, by Malaysian artist Charles Cham continues until December 18 at the Karin Weber Gallery in Hong Kong.

At age five, Charles began to paint, inspired by the first movie he ever saw. Since then, he has embraced color with confidence and pride, as seen in his latest collection. His works play heavily with the “duality of life”. Mirror emotions are depicted, and color opposites appear side-by-side. The artist produces comical characters who wink and gesture with tongue-in-cheek attitudes that instantly polarize viewer comments.

Charles has exhibited in Singapore, France, Australia, Britain, Portugal, Switzerland and Malaysia. His works appear in corporate and private collections.
