| I very much enjoyed reading your articles about the Atlantic Veterinary College (‘Tempered Compassion’ Fills Vet School and Vet-College Cat Saves Lives Too).
As we move into the final months of Dr Tim Ogilvie’s leadership as the dean here at the AVC, some of us get rather sentimental. He’s been a wonderful ambassador for the college, and we’re not sure what we’ll do without him. Your coverage reminds us of the many reasons we look to him for leadership. Ironically, Dr Ogilvie will step down a week before the kickoff of the 10th anniversary for the AVC Vet Camp, a program he founded.
I’ll give Casper, the cat, a scratch behind the ears for you. He’s still enjoying his life at the AVC “spa and resort”. He’s usually seen in the late afternoons being pushed on an office chair through the halls of our Veterinary Teaching Hospital by our community-wellness veterinarian. She likes to spoil Casper and Magic, our other cat, with little “rides” around the hospital.
Ahhhhh... to be a cat!
