| Your editorial, Hot Water Bottles, Not Bottled Water (March 6, 2008), made a nice story.
In New Zealand, hot-water bottles are called “hotties”. People usually take “a hotty” to bed in the winter if they have no spouse (or cat or dog) to cuddle up to under the blankets.
One of my Canadian friends is amused by the expression “hotty”. To him, it suggests something quite different.
