Chaisson, Band Second in Toronto
Tim Chaisson and Morning Fold, an Atlantic Canadian band blending folk, traditional and pop music, battled stiff competition to place second at the 5th annual Indie Music Week final at Toronto’s famous Reverb Club on October 10.

Indie Music Week provides valuable chances for networking, exposure and education through industry panels, seminars and showcases. All showcases are judged by industry professionals.

Reached by telephone on the way to shows in southern Ontario and Montreal in support of a new album, Broken Hearted Beat, Chaisson said: “We were pleased to see the crowds react so positively to our performances.”

The four-day festival had 24 shows with 123 bands from Kelowna (British Colombia), Washington, Toronto, Edmonton, Brazil, Niagara (Ontario), Montreal, New York, Calgary, Buffalo and Charlottetown.
