Recently, I returned from nearly two years of hectic travelling in China devoted to research for my fifth book, Chinese Witnesses. It was a tiring journey, physically and emotionally, but now I’m back to the relaxed atmosphere of London.

The charity that I founded two years ago, the Mothers’ Bridge of Love (MBL), is developing fast, building a base of supporters around the world and helping to build three bridges -- between China and the West, between birth and adoptive cultures and between rich and poor.

An MBL volunteer Ms Li Lin recently graduated as a media student from Bournemouth University in Britain. She made plans to travel back to Shenzhen and spend time in Hong Kong. If you’d like to learn more about our charity, then please get in touch with her.
