The Women in Publishing Society Hong Kong invites you to learn about “bridging the dialogue gap” with Peter Nixon, the managing director of Potential Dialogue.
Peter will focus on the gap between the quality of the dialogues we have and those needed to solve growing challenges at work, at home and in society. His mantra, “the solution is in the dialogue”, has become a constant refrain with his clients. He wants to see dialogue training in corporate curriculums, schools and universities so the world will develop the leadership it needs.
After qualifying as a chartered accountant in Montreal, Peter extended his career to Geneva and Hong Kong. He has travelled widely and worked with many organizations in different cultures. Now he's a visiting lecturer at the University of Hong Kong and elsewhere.
Learn more about the power of dialogue and how to apply it to negotiate contracts and deal with publishers or clients. This event is set for January 10 (6:30-8:30 p.m.) in the Hughes Room at Hong Kong's Foreign Correspondents Club. Admission is HK$100 for WiPS members and HK$200 for non-members.
