You're invited to celebrate the launch of Sights and Secrets of Hong Kong (second edition) by Lorette E. Roberts on October 18 (6:30 to 8 p.m.) at the Bookazine store in the Prince's Building in Hong Kong's Central District.

In the eight years since the original Sights and Secrets of Hong Kong appeared, much has changed so it's time for another version. Some favorite pages remain, but this larger book has a whole range of new sketches and drawings, including nightlife revelries, the Big Buddha, a little mermaid and school children looking across the harbor, and even a little mouse in hot pursuit.
