Again, Doane Sings at Harmony House

Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Melanie Doane makes a second appearance at the Harmony House Theatre in Hunter River (PEI), Canada, on June 25, starting at 8 p.m. She'll be accompanied by singer-guitarist Mike Borkoski.

A Juno Award-winner, Doane comes from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her songs have featured on hit TV shows like Brothers and Sisters (“Good Gifts”), Buffy The Vampire Slayer (“I Can't Take My Eyes Off You”) and Dawson's Creek (“Bionic”). Her albums led to top-40 Canadian hits like “Adam's Rib”, “Still Desire You”, “Waiting For The Tide”, “Goliath” and “Happy Homemaker”.

She plans to perform songs from a new studio album, A Thousand Nights, to be released on July 1. The album features Melanie on vocals, piano, guitar, fiddle, mandolin and bass, plus special guests like Jim Cuddy, Ron Sexsmith and Ted Dykstra.
